Hooch Booch is a hard kombucha brand, born from the Denver prohibition of March 2020 when letting loose felt eerily similar to an era perhaps long forgotten. From sipping in secret to sipping in society, Hooch Booch is inspired by the roaring 20’s, reimagined for modern living today.
The Brief
The brand identity is a modern take on design approaches of the 1920’s. The package design was inspired by the detailed liquor bottle and apothecary labels of this period. Overall, the brand has a bold, rebellious, and playful tone and design style.
The Brand
The Hooch Booch logo is inspired by apothecary and liquor brands during the prohibition era of the 1920s. Using a classic condensed font with dynamic angles, the logo has a vintage and mysterious quality that sets the tone for the entire brand. Because the two words use the same letters besides their first, the stacked mark feels balanced. The ® should always be used with the Hooch Booch logo unless being used on merchandise. The brand colors were inspired by upscale and moody perfumes as well as vintage automobiles.
